About the Team & Role
You’ll join the New Business QA Team, a group of skilled engineers with diverse expertise. They dedicated to ensuring their access control solutions meet the highest standards, building trust and satisfaction among their customers. Teamwork, shared learning, and a strong quality culture define them.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in:

• Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and cases.
• Supporting other test teams with tools and visualization for test results.
• Innovating and refining environments, methods, and processes.
• Sharing knowledge through mentoring and training.

This is a Consultancy Role with Recruitment Potential
While you will be employed as a consultant by Ed:Za, you will be working on-site at Axis Communications. There is an opportunity for over-recruitment, meaning a chance to transition to a permanent role at Axis once the consultancy period is over.

Who You Are
Axis are looking for someone who loves problem-solving and has a strong passion for software quality and testing. You’re adaptable, eager to learn, and enjoy working closely with others in a collaborative environment.

You likely have:

• A degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming skills and experience with test automation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Two years or more experience in relevant fields.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience with Python programming language
• An understanding of the interplay between hardware and software.
